Music & Love

Nobody is suprised when they see these two words standing besides each other. Thousands of songs have been written about love, the word "ballad" immediately makes one think about a love song, sad or happy...

But what's the true relationship between music & love? Is it just a fact that they belong together, or are they completely independent... I'm pretty sure this is an question with no answer... 

But let there be no doubt! Music & love sometimes go extremely well together... or not...

Let me tell you a short story...

There once was a boy, completely into music, being a drummer himself, listening to his favorite music, power metal, every single day. On a gig of his favourite band, Sonata Arctica, he falls in love with this girl from his school, who he'd known for a few years... One week later they are together! A beautiful couple, everyone says!! Sharing the same taste of music, going together to gigs and festivals. 

Music & Love definitely were doing a nice job here! It even gets better! 

The girl has played piano for over a decade, and the boy, as mentioned before, was a drummer. Of course they started an own band... true love, true music!!

But...

The girl got an offer from another, more promising band which she gladly accepted. The boy never doubted her decision and always kept on supporting her with her new band...
Then the guitarist from the band falls in love with this girl... you can't blaim him too much, it's a lovely girl, nice looking, clever...
Sadly, the girl also gets feelings for this guitarist...

So as we speak, the girl is stil doubting about what to do, and the boy is sitting in his room alone, listening to music... music that once got them together, has now torn everything to pieces...
