With only three records out, Good Charlotte got pretty big. Next to these records they released a live and a video- collection dvd. Metalrage received their third dvd called Fast Future Generation. Most Metalrage members sort of hate Good Charlotte and to be honest, I don’t like their music as well. Still I think this dvd is a valuable addition for Good Charlotte fans. Let me explain why.

Basically, this dvd shows you everything what happens behind the scene’s. And that’s exactly what I’d like to see when I buy a dvd. You can go to a concert to see them play live, you can buy a record if you want to listen to their music. A dvd gives the opportunity to meet the band. To see how they’re like when they're not on stage. This disc shows you all that.

 

For example, who would’ve thought that these guys, who look like white trailer trash dressed up like Goths, are walking around with Louis Vuitton bags? Seems that their fashion taste matches their musical taste….

 

But anyway, Fast Future Generation is about Good Charlotte’s tour throughout Japan back in 2005. It’s from their first till their last show and everything in between. It contains only a few live performances when the rest is all about the band and about what they’re all up to. Next to a lot of interviews you’ll also find some personal talk on this disc. Like subjects as friendship, fashion, music, celebrities and so on.

 

The audio and visual qualities of the dvd are of course very high. You can even choose for subtitles. So in the end this disc is something that I definitely recommend to Good Charlotte fans.
