ProgPower Europe is organized by Stichting ProgPower in close coorporation with JC Sjiwa. Since the beginning back in 1999 Stichting ProgPower exists of 3 persons, and that is enough for us. The more people you are, the harder it will be to agree on the line-up, because everyone has a different taste. Therefore we think that deciding what bands will play better can be done with not too many people. And looking back at the past 7 editions we think we proved already that we have an excellent taste. This means that SStichting ProgPower is responsable for the line-up, so if you ever want to blame people for not choosing the right bands, you have to blame us.

Of course it is impossible to organize the entire event just with 3 persons, therefore we have to thank the people from JC Sjiwa. Over the past 5 years they have done the best they could do, and you can see that every year we make some progression together. So all the people running around at the festival, wearing a CREW T-shirt, are volunteers! No one gets paid for this, everyone is doing this for free.

And if you are wondering who takes all the financial risk, well, get in touch with us and we will explain you how it works. We only want to make clear that so far the festival has cost us money, because everything is done without any big sponsoring. Some of you think that running such a festival is a daytime job and we get paid for it, believe us, we all do this because we love to do it, but we do not earn any $ with it!
