| According to a posting on Kiss bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons' official web site, Gene's reality-Tv show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" was honored this week by the 29th annual Telly Awards with a bronze award. Founded in 1978, The Telly is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable Tv programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" was chosen from more than 14,000 entries from around the world. In other news, Gene has posted the following message: "Thank you one and all for the kind emails you've sent inquiring if I'm Ok. Yes. I'm fine. One of our new 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' episodes had me on a treadmill doing a stress test. We all should do that. I did just fine. I'm on tour with my favorite band, Kiss, and if any of you have seen us, we do this two hours a night, on 8-inch platform heels and another 20 or 30 pounds of guitars and armor. "Yes. I'm fine." |
