hi, my name is Matthijs.
 
I'm 28 years old (born on 28 jan 1981) and I live in Doetinchem (Netherlands).
I love music, especially metal. I listen to music, but I also make music. I play guitar and bassguitar. At the moment I play bassguitar in the avant-garde metal band 'Fangor' and  guitar in a band called 'Bleifrei'. We play a mix of rock, metal and a little bit of punk.
I also have a solo project called 'Territion'. Old school melodic black metal. Check it out at www.territion.tk (Under construction)
 
My favorite bands are : Taake, Satyricon, Thorns, Katatonia, Porcupine Tree, Jeff Wayne, Bathory, Queen, Scorpions, New Model Army, The Levellers, Dissection, Khold, Running Wild, Yann Tiersen, Tori Amos, God Dethroned, Wumpscut, Therion, Ajattara, Suicide Commando, Lumsk, Naglfar, Cathedral, Arcturus, Rhapsody, Orphanage, The Kovenant, Caliban, Mortiis, Type o negative, Immortal, Enslaved, Scooter, Dimmu Borgir, Black Label Society and Rammstein ( and many more.......). But I also listen to very different genre's, I also like , industrial, electro, acid, jungle, drum & bass, ambient, classic music, 70's rock, I'm even the prowd owner of a spice girls cd :p.
 

So what else do I do? Well, I'm a Teacher at an MBO-school. I teach German, English, Social science ,presentation and IT. I'm also the captain of a volleyballteam, we are not that good, but we have fun. I also like wandering through the forest and 'De Veluwe', I really love that.
