Happy birthday to Metalrage! Two years old and still online, it is a miracle. What have we achieved in 2004? Well I can tell you: it's a lot. Metalrage was present at the biggest festivals in Europe. To name a few: Rock am Ring, Lowlands, Graspop, Dynamo, Sziget, Obscene, Groezrock, Paaspop etc..

 

Besides that we have done loads of interviews with our biggest idols like Mastodon, Cradle of Filth, Killswitch Engage, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Nile, Machine Head and Fear Factory. More and more people and countries are supporting and believing in Metalrage.

 

A funny fact is that in the last week of 2004 we actually received the third Turkish metal CD. Again from the same band, and all three CDs came this year, but it is revolutionary. Who ever imagined that Metalrage was going to receive Turkish metal? Besides that, Eastern Europe got to know us with CD's from Blind Myself, The Idoru and Aebscence. Another one was Latin America with Cruel Face. We are still receiving strange mailings of these dudes.

 

2004 has sure been a great year for us and in 2005 we will still be working our asses of for the thing we love. We are trying our best to be present at a shitload of festivals and concerts and reviewing loads and loads of new albums. For now you have to live with our very own Yearlists, edition 2004!
