Draconian to open for Therion in Israel
Swedish gothic doom metal band Draconian will play its first show in Israel opening for Therion on August 30 at Merkaz Hayeridim in Tel Aviv. Draconian's setlist will include songs from its entire discography and special t-shirts will be designed for the show.
Draconian will enter Fascination Street Studio (Katatonia, Opeth) in Örebro, Sweden in September to record its fourth Cd. Accordign to the band, "The album will generally deal with a more diverse and intense sound than previous releases, which should attract both old and new fans as well. The title of the album is yet uncertain, but a few new songtitles are 'Seasons Apart', 'The Failure Epiphany' and 'Morphine Cloud'."
Draconian released its special "bonus" album, titled "The Burning Halo", last September through Napalm Records (October in the U.s.). The Cd features three new songs, new versions of several demo songs and three covers.
