Cleveland thrash metal legends Destructor have been confirmed for next summer's Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany.

"The opportunity of a lifetime", says Destructor lead vocalist/guitarist Dave Overkill. "The band is very excited and looking forward to the whole event. Having a chance to play the world's largest heavy metal festival is a bonus and we're honored to have been invited."

Destructor's new full length studio CD, "Forever In Leather", has just been released by Auburn Records. The album was produced by Breaker's Don Depew and features 11 brand new Destructor originals.

The band has scheduled an official CD-release show in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, November 17 at the Jigsaw Saloon & Stage. The concert will also feature special guests Soulless, Cellbound and Dawn Of Wolves.
