The reformed lineup of the Dutch death metal outfit Asphyx ? Martin van Drunen (vocals), Wannes Gubbels (bass/vocals), Paul Baayens (guitar) and Bob Bagchus (drums) ? has been confirmed for this year's Rock Hard Festival, set to take place May 9-11, 2008 at the Gelsenkirchen Amphitheatre in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Asphyx will enter Harrow studios later this month to record two songs: a cover of Celtic Frost's "Os Abysmi Vel Daath" and a new track called "Death... The Brutal Way".
