| Belgium's Serpentcult, the new band featuring former members of Thee Plague Of Gentlemen and Welkin, has been invited by Rise Above Records to play at the Roadburn festival on Thursday, April 17. Roadburn festival will take place April 17-20 at 013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Also scheduled to appear are Celtic Frost, Grand Magus, Capricorns, Isis, Boris, Cult Of Luna, Electric Wizard, Cephalic Carnage, Trouble, Witchcraft, Church Of Misery, and many more! Serpentcult will release its new album, "Weight Of Light", on May 1 through Swedish label I Hate Records. The group will enter Priory Studio in Birmingham, Uk in February to record the Cd with engineer by Greg Chandler (Esoteric). Once the recordings are done, the effort will be mixed and mastered by mastermind Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Cathedral, High On Fire, Men Of Porn) at his new studio in San Francisco. Serpentcult will present its new album with a range of shows early May in the Netherlands and Germany with Uk's legendary Warning. The official CD-release party in Belgium will happen at the Hipodrome in Kuurne on May 10. After this, the band will prepare for some summer festivals, to be announced later. |
