Soulfly guitarist performs at Namm; video available
Bay Area Backstage has posted video footage of Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy guitarist Marc Rizzo's performance at the Peavey stage at at this year's winter Namm (National Association of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 17-20 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Watch the clip below.Rizzo's latest solo album, "The Ultimate Devotion", was released on July 31, 2007 through shrapnel Records in the u.s. and Mascot Records throughout Europe.
Soulfly members Max Cavalera (guitar/vocals), Joe Nunez (drums), Marc Rizzo (guitar), and Bobby Burns (bass) entered Porch studio in Florida on september 12 to begin recording the band's sixth studio album for an early summer 2008 release via Roadrunner Records. Working titles for some of the 13 songs which were tracked include "Burndown", "Enemy Ghost", "Axis of Wrath", and "Blood, Fire, War, Hate".
Soulfly's upcoming CD will feature guest appearances by Morbid Angel frontman David Vincent and Throwdown singer Dave Peters.
