Norway's Trail Of Tears has been confirmed for the 2008 edition of Metal Mania Fest, set to take place August 14-16 in Slovenia.

Commented the band: We had a blast playing Slovenia on the Therion/Tristania tour in 2004 and we are really looking forward to get back and tear it up with our Slovenian friends!"

Trail Of Tears' fifth album, "Existentia", was issued in January 2007 via Napalm Records. The Cd was recorded at Soundsuite Studio in Marseille, France with producer Terje Refsnes and includes contributions from French female singer Emmanuelle Zoldan and Norwegian keyboard master Bernt Moen.

Trail Of Tears was last year rejoined by vocalist Cathrine Paulsen, who sang on the group's 2002 album, "A New Dimension of Might".

Trail Of Tears members Jonathan Perez (drums), Kjell Hagen (bass), Runar Hansen (guitar) and Kjetil Nordhus (vocals) announced on November 28, 2006 that they were leaving the group. Vocalist Ronny Thorsen has since vowed to carry on with new members.
