Swedish hard rockers Mustasch have been confirmed for this year's Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany.

Mustasch was honored with the "Best Hard Rock" award at Sweden's "Grammis" gala, which was held on January 9 at Globen in Stockholm. Mot�rhead drummer Mikkey Dee presented the award to Mustasch, who beat out such veterans acts as Candlemass, Entombed and Clawfinger for the honor.

Mustasch released a "best-of" album, entitled "Lowlife Highlight", in February through Regain Records. The Cd features 18 songs from the band's back catalogue originally issued by Emi.

Mustasch recently inked a new deal with Regain Records for the group's follow-up to "Latest Version of the Truth", scheduled for a 2009 release.
