Toxic Holocaust issues recording update
Seattle, Washington-based thrashers
Toxic Holocaust have entered
Sound House studio in their hometown with producer
Jack Endino to begin recording the follow-up album to
"Hell On Earth", which is expected to see a fall release via
Relapse. "On day two in the studio we started by recording the drums again," says mainman
Joel Grind. "
Donny [drums;
Zeke] banged out six more songs. Things are shaping up nicely. We have four more drum tracks to cut then it's on to the guitars, bass and vocals. Actually, we had some time last night and I did the rhythm guitars for three songs. We used my Marshall and strangely enough a '67 Fender amp that the studio owns. We put a distortion pedal in front of it and it sounds savage!"
Toxic Holocaust will join the reunited
At The Gates on their upcoming North American tour. The trek, which also includes
Darkest Hour and
Municipal Waste, will kick off on July 9 in New York City.
