Drummer Jordan Mancino of the San Diego metallers As I Lay Dying has issued the following update:

"Now that As I Lay Dying is winding down from our busy summer tour schedule, I now have the opportunity and time to start teaching drum lessons again for the month of September.

"For all of my existing students, I've changed studio locations. I am now going to be teaching at Exp Studios in Escondido, California. I'm excited about the move and it will give all of you night owls (including myself) extended scheduling hours for lessons.

"I'm ready and willing to teach any student no matter what your skill level is (beginner, intermediate, advanced, or ultimate shredder of the drums)."

As I Lay Dying has been nominated in the "Artist Of The Year" category (an award they won last year) at this year's San Diego Music Awards. The band will also performs at the 18th annual awards ceremony, which will be held September 17 in the beautiful outdoor setting of Viejas' Concerts in the Park.
