No Friends: entire debut album available for streaming
The self-titled debut album from No Friends - the band featuring Tony Foresta from Municipal Waste on vocals and members of New Mexican Disaster Squad "playing raging '80s-style hardcore in the vein of Dag Nasty, Descendents and Gorilla Biscuits" - is available for streaming in its entirety at PunkNews.org. Due on July 28 via No Idea Records, the CD was recorded at Crescendo Sound Studios.
Tony previously stated about "No Friends: "This band is something that I have wanted to be a part of for a while and I'm really stoked with how fun and fast things came together once we all agreed to do it. We are all on the same page as far as wanting to write interesting and creative fast music. I think we managed to create a pretty killer first release."
No Friends will play at Alley Katz in Richmond, Virginia on August 21 as part of Best Friends Day 8.
