Five Finger Death Punch to release 'Dying Breed' digital single

Los Angeles metallers Five Finger Death Punch have confirmed a November 16 digital release for "Dying Breed", the opening track to their latest album, "War Is The Answer", currently available in the U.K. via Spinefarm Records. The digital single also features "Succubus", a bonus track previously unreleased and taken from the sessions for "The Way Of The Fist", the band?s debut album. A demo version of the song found its way online a few years ago and, due to popular demand, Five Finger Death Punch recently remixed and remastered it.

The Five Finger Death Punch / Shadows Fall U.K. co-headline tour is now on sale, with Rise To Remain and Magnacult completing the bill. The London date has now sold out, and by popular demand the Manchester show at the Academy 2 has been upgraded to the larger Academy room.

"War Is The Answer" sold 44,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 7 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD follows up Five Finger Death Punch's 2007 debut, "The Way Of The Fist", which has sold more than 350,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"War Is The Answer" was released in the U.S. on September 22 via Prospect Park Records. The CD was produced by the band and Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, In This Moment), and was mixed by Randy Staub (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Nickelback). According to a press release, "the record evolves the band's already mature sound, ranging from the undeniable melodies in 'Hard to See' to the brutally nihilistic 'Burn It Down' - destined to please fans both new and old."

Five Finger Death Punch kicked off "The Shock And Roar Tour" on September 22 in San Francisco. Joining them on the bill are Shadows Fall, Otep and 2 Cents.
