Kingdom Of Sorrow re-signs with Relapse Records, begins mixing new album

Kingdom Of Sorrow, the metal project created by Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) and Kirk Windstein (Down, Crowbar), has re-signed with Relapse Records.

Jasta and Windstein have already finished recording the follow-up to Kingdom Of Sorrow's self-titled debut. The new CD is currently being mixed by Chris "Zeuss" Harris at Planet Z Recordings in Hadley, Massachusetts for a tentative late spring release. Additional album details will be revealed soon.

Commented Windstein: "Jamey and I are really excited to be working with Relapse on another Kingdom Of Sorrow album. They were a big part of the success of our first album and have been a great company to work with.

"Our new material kicks ass; we can't wait to unleash it! It's a real beast!"

Jasta added: "It was a no brainer to re-sign with Relapse for another Kingdom Of Sorrow album. They are a great company who really gets it and we're extremely excited to have them 110% behind us."

Kingdom Of Sorrow released its self-titled debut in early 2008. The band embarked on a 70-city tour in support of the CD and took part in the Ozzfest and Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tours. Kingdom Of Sorrow also released three music videos from the record, one of which can be viewed below.
