Tom Morello, Dee Snider, Matt Sorum to appear in 'Private Sessions: Songs for Haiti'
Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) and Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver) are among the musicians who are scheduled to appear in "Private Sessions: Songs for Haiti", which is set to air this Sunday, January 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Et/Pt simultaneously on both A&e network and Bio channel. "Private Sessions: Songs for Haiti", which aims to raise awareness for relief efforts in Haiti, will revisit the series' best performances highlighted by new messages from celebrity guests. In addition to performances and exclusive guest commentary, host Lynn Hoffman will interview a spokesperson from each charitable organization working with A&e Television Networks for information on the state of earthquake-stricken Haiti, the needs of the thousands of injured, missing, hungry and homeless Haitians and what viewers can do to help.
Throughout the special two-hour show, viewers will be directed to www.aetv.com/haiti where they will be able to contribute donations to the charity of their choice.
Filmed in a small, intimate studio in New York City, "Private Sessions" showcases exclusive performances and conversations with top names in entertainment with a focus on contemporary music ranging from rock 'n' roll to pop to country. Each Sunday morning "Private Sessions" explores the body of work of a single artist or group and feature current releases as well as career-building, influential or defining projects.
