Cop hurt, 120 arrested at Metallica concert in Chile; video available
Police said most of the arrests took place when hundreds of fans without tickets tried to force their way into Santiago's Club Hipico horse-racing grounds for Tuesday night's (January 26) concert.
"A group of people tried to enter without tickets and Carabineros (militarized police) had to act, launching water," Col. Miguel Angel Castro said.
The detainees were arrested for offenses such as disorderly conduct, drug possession and drinking in public, police said. Prosecutors were to decide on Wednesday whether to prosecute the rowdy fans.
