Alice In Chains interviewed by Tv Guide at Grammy Awards

Tv Guide conducted an interview with Alice In Chains on the red carpet of the 52nd annual Grammy Awards, which was held this past Sunday night (January 31) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Watch the chat below.

Alice In Chains has just kicked off a new North American tour. This round of dates is the group's latest in support of its first studio album in 14 years, "Black Gives Way To Blue", which arrived in September and features the recording debut with the band of singer and guitarist William DuVall.

The band recently released a new single called "Your Decision" for rock radio, with a video available via iTunes. The slower, acoustic-based number is reminiscent of earlier Alice material in the same vein, but DuVall told The Pulse of Radio that he thinks the album "moves the ball forward" musically for the band. "It absolutely moves the ball forward, absolutely, and we wouldn't have done it otherwise, if we didn't think that we had a shot at moving the ball forward," he said. "I mean, that's totally been the goal from day one and I think it's achieved, you know. I think it adds to, it builds upon what's there."
