Cancer Bats: new song posted online
Canada's hardcore/metal band Cancer Bats has posted a brand new track titled "Scared To Death" on the group's MySpace page. The song is taken from Cancer Bats's forthcoming album, "Bears, Mayors, Scraps and Bones", which will be released in the United States and Canada on April 13.
Cancer Bats has also announced that it will issue a digital EP ahead of the album release. The EP will contain "Scared To Death" and the band's take on the Beastie Boys classic "Sabotage". It will be available from iTunes as of March 1.
Cancer Bats's sophomore full-length CD, "Hail Destroyer", came out in 2008 via Black Market Activities. The album was co-produced by Eric Ratz (Big Sugar, Theory Of A Dead Man, Billy Talent), Kenny Luong (Billy Talent), and Greg Below (Alexisonfire) and recorded at Vespa Studios.
