Mayhem comments on north american tour cancellation
Mayhem's previously announced "Deconsecration Part Ii" North American tour with Tombs, Ludicra and Krallice, which was scheduled to kick off on April 7 in Washington D.C., has been officially cancelled.
"Despite all attempts to save the USA/Canada tour, we are now forced to cancel it due to the financial situation," the Norwegian black metallers write in a statement.
"We are very sorry for all those who expected to see Mayhem live. We hope the situation will be better next time. We will work hard on getting back over there as soon as possible."
Mayhem last year announced the addition of French guitarist Silmaeth (ex-Vorkreist) to the group's touring lineup.
Mayhem's current live formation is as follows:
