Downspirit completes recording new album
Downspirit, the German/Swiss blues/metal-oriented band formed by Symphorce/ex-Freedom Call guitarist Cedric "Cede" Dupont, has completed recording its sophomore album for a tentative late July release.
Comented Dupont: "It's tasty, it's huge, it's just great and yeah, it rocks. 12 songs, grooving, blasting, killing, simply something myself, the two Steffens and Dennis are very very proud of! Can't wait to release it!"
Downspirit's debut album, "Point Of Origin", was received well, with much positive feedback all over the world, and brought the band's touring schedule to include more than 60 shows around Europe.
