Chimaira guitarist Rob Arnold did not die
Metal Hammer is pleased to report that Chimaira guitarist Rob Arnold did not die last week as a fake internet reports have suggested.

A fake news story has been circulating since tuesday afternoon stating
that: “Chimaira guitarist Rob Arnold was found dead in car aged 25.
Cleveland police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found following a suspected road accident in Co Roscommon this morning."

”The man, who is identified as 25 year old guitarist Rob Arnold, was found dead inside a vehicle that was spotted in a ditch by a passing motorist in Cloonfad East at around 9am. A post mortem is due to be carried out later today to determine the cause of his death.”

Chimaira's publicist told Metal Hammer: “Rob's just fine and amused to learn of his death yesterday.”

An official statement from the band is as follows:

“In more startling news, guitarist Rob Arnold has returned from the dead. Donations for his family are still being accepted."
