After his split with Laberinto in 2004, Pablo has been heavily active in the Dutch live-circuit. Amongst others he played for Brainpower, Corey, Sherry Dyanne, Innervisions Band, Tasha's World and more. Besides Pablo joined the houseband of the monthly Jazzisms-evenings in Bitterzoet and Club Panama. Yet it seemed like Pablo had said goodbye to metal, the music-style with which he acquired large reputation with Laberinto. With the launching of his new project D-Compose he proves the opposite.
D-Compose plays a blasting mix of grindcore with heavy low-tuned riffs and sublime technical drumming wich will please a wide range of music-lovers, from fans of pure grindcore to metalfans to punkfans. D-Compose is a "must see" live band that will grab you by the throat and drag you down into a gravel-pit of sickening riffs, machinegun drums and gruesome vocals. In may 2004 D-Compose recorded a 4 song-demo including a cover of The Ramones' "I'm not Jesus".
The drums for D-Compose are handled by famous Cuban drummer Liber Torriente, well known for his work with Fernando Lamereinhas, Randal Corsen, his various appearances on Jazz-Festivals all around the world (including North Sea Jazz 5 years in a row) and his work as a percussionist for several big Cuban salsa bands. Furthermore D-Compose consists of Rafael Gimón (ex-Agresión) on bass and Arthur and Martin (both singers for amongst others Matka Teresa) handling the vocals.
At the moment D-Compose is busy recording their first full-length wich will be released as soon as a suitable recordlabel is found. For more info, mp3's and showdates, check out: http://www.d-composexxx.com For more info, interview-requests (more than welcome) etc. contact:
