Tankard, the beer band from Frankfurt ,Germany exists for 25 years which is a great time to release a best of album, Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers. A band that is powered on beer and the fans and has almost a cult status nowadays. A band that never really got their break through to the rest of the world but still going strong doing their own thing.
 
15 of the best Tankard songs spread out over 99 album tracks. I don't get the fun of it but I believe that's Tankard above all. Just doing their own thing like they've done for the past 25 years. Within the 99 album track songs like ˜Zombie Attack', ˜Beermuda' and ˜Freibeer' are present. To be honest not songs with a great quality if you ask me. Mediocre thrash metal riffs that are backed up by standard drum patterns. Of course 20 years ago this music was still exciting but nowadays it's just another standard thrash song.
 
To be honest I'd never really understand Tankard. Okay I do believe it's great to have a laugh every now and then but most of the time I'd like to take it seriously. Which is probably also my problem considering Tankard. I just don't like the humor of the band and believe there are much more ways of having fun rather than drink beer and play metal tunes.  
 
Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers in probably a great album for the fans of the band especially because within the limited edition digipack features a bonus album A Tribute To Tankard. For all those people who don't know the band you don't miss a thing believe me!
