This particular wednesday, some things that just had to be done, were...ehh..done. So to cool off and drink some beers to celebrate Demondust rang me up to check out Nashville Pussy and drink some beers! Rock 'n' Roll and beers? Hell yeah! I'm in!!

The night started off with Dead Elvis. I've seen him a couple of times before, and it's always been fun to watch. For those of you who never heard of him; Dead Elvis is a dude (69 Charger singer and lead guitarplayer) in an Elvis suit, wearing a halloween mask that represents Elvis...only dead. He sings songs about chicks walking past his grave and turning him on. Again it was an entertaining show, but after about 20 minutes it kinda starts to get boring. It's fun as a side act on a festival, but not as a solo act warming up for a band.

The room was half filled, Dead Elvis was gone, the beer was still there and Nashville Pussy took over the stage. Two chicks and two guys with good, maybe even great fu manchu's! They made it very clear; life is about rockin', rollin' and drinkin'! One guy from the stagecrew actually fed the drummer his alcohol, how sweet is that! Nashville Pussy rocked hard and even threw out a nice and hard cover of Ike and Tina's Nutbush City Limits. About an hour into the show, it's basically done. Most songs sound the same, and many bands sound like this one do.

I had never seen 'em before, but I had a blast. It was entertaining, it was rockin' and the sound was good. Nothing new on the horizon, just a good night of hard rock and beers!
