Wednesday - Day 1
The first day at Sziget we were still arranging a lot of stuff after our little adventure. We went into town and bought a shitload of new clothes and stuff. Especially the girls who were with us enjoyed this part of the week. It had to be done so we weren’t complaining! Due to this shopping afternoon we did not see a lot of bands in the afternoon and we were tired in the evening!

Loop Doctors Ft. Gary Willis
This group is high on my Must-See list. The project formed around drummer Peter Szendofi and American bass-maestro Gary Willis plays an almost sample-based kind of jazz-fusion, hence the name Loop Doctors. Every musician had the chance to show his chops, this combined with the very nice carpet in the Mupa Jazz Stage made for some quality time.

Cradle of Filth
Cradle of Filth is known for a great live show. In Budapest it was clear front man Dani Filth wasn’t able to control his drinking problem. While entering the stage he jumped around like a rabbit and after the first song he made the worst Hungarian joke a man can make! ÒAre you Hungary? Good, because I am starving!Ó. The rest of the band was playing a very good show and the more thrash influences on their latest release Thornography is good for the band. Too bad Dani was ruining the show for me. Eventhough the audience seemed to enjoy this strange set, it didn’t take long for me to leave the tent
