Hemlock explains Austin cancellation
Drummer Steve Baca of the Las Vegas, Nevada-based metallers Hemlock has released the following statement:

"Due to circumstances out of our control, Hemlock was forced to cancel their appearance with Ministry and Meshuggah [Tuesday night, April 15] in Austin, Texas. We are very sorry, but we had problems with our trailer, a bearing broke in one of our wheels and left us stranded for about three hours on the side of the highway in Texas. We arrived at the venue with just enough time to see the start of Meshuggah's set. We are very sorry and we will make it up to everyone in Austin who came to see us, by coming back this summer. Everyone in the tour and at the venue were nice enough to let us set up our merch and try to make some gas money to the next stop in Oklahoma. Thank you again to everyone who came out to see us and to the venue and all of the crew on the tour. We will see you soon on the road!"

Hemlock's new album, track, "No Time For Sorrow", was released on March 18 via Blind Prophecy Records. The CD was recorded with engineer Eddy Garcia (Pissing Razors).

According to a press release, Hemlock "is a heavy and brutal onslaught of metal with an arsenal of catchy lyrics, creative breakdowns and melodic hooks. [The band] considers their real home to be on the road, continuing to carve a name for themselves in the underground. They have toured with the likes of Slayer, Hatebreed, Soulfly, Otep, Slipknot, Lamb Of God, Disturbed, Obituary, Chimaira, Drowning Pool, Hed(P.E.), System Of A Down, Shadows Fall, Snot, Devildriver, Sepultura, Exodus, Sevendust, Arch Enemy and several more. Touring eight to nine months a years, Hemlock has done regional headlining tours in the Southwest and has also toured across the U.S. several times."
