Adrift working on new material
Adrift ? the Tampa-based heavy rock band featuring
Jack Owen of
Deicide/
Cannibal Corpse fame ? is currently hard at work on new material. With three new songs already put into the live set (
"The Abrupt",
"Deeper" and
"Full Fruition"), there is still a melting pot of riffage just waiting to be structured. Singer
Dean Pskowski had this to say about the
Adrift writing process: "We like to just get in a room and jam out the songs until we're happy with them. Sometimes I'll bring a song idea in and we'll just toy around with it until it becomes something we would want to share with the rest of the world." Drummer
Kevin Astl added: "The new stuff is going to surprise a lot of people and I can't wait for everyone to hear what we have in store for 2009".
