Brooklyn Militia, the new thrash/hardcore/punk/metal band featuring former drummer Joe Cangelosi, vocalist Glenn Hansen and bassist Richard Day, will make its live debut on Friday, April 5 at The Acheron venue in Brooklyn, New York.

Says Cangelosi: I'm very excited to get this band off the ground; it only took three years! With so many ups and downs, people flaking, lineup changes and overall dysfunction. we finally have a complete lineup and we are gearing up to play our debut show to open up the flood gate to the future of Brooklyn Militia. The band is currently writing and demoing material for its debut album, tentatively due in early 2014 via an as-yet-undetermined record label.
