Breamgod - Breamgod
There aren’t many hardcore bands from Finland. Luckily Breamgod is an exception to that. They just recorded their self titled debut album and launched it on the Finnish hardcore label Full House Records.

Breamgod plays metalcore that looks like a mixture of Hatebreed, Born From Pain and Merauder. Of course that are some big names to be compared with but on the contrary to many other new metalcore bands, Breamgod actually deserves it. The first song of the album ’No Second Chances’ starts with no intro or whatsoever, it blasts away from the beginning and immediately puts a smile on my face.

Music wise it’s not very new because we all know it’s been done before but isn’t that the problem with 99 percent of the new releases nowadays? Breamgod tackles that problem with a tight production, great songs and ditto lyrics. This of course makes them stand out from the masses.

But of course every album has its setbacks and so does the self titled debut of Breamgod. 'Cause the total playing time of 25 minutes is a bit short and during some of the songs the vocals are a bit overwhelmed by the guitars. But luckily there are songs on the album like ‘That’s What Friends Are For’, ‘Death Certain' , 'Life’s Not’ and ‘Wolf Among The Sheep’ because they make you forget about the minor setbacks on this album

Breamgod has made a great debut album which blows you away from the beginning of the album. This album really stands out between most of the so called metalcore releases these days. I’m convinced we will hear more of them in the future, so Hatebreed watch your back because Breamgod is coming.
