Nuestros Derechos - Demo
It's been too long for to have reviewed a Demo, a crying shame, cause for me personally, as entertaining as a textual-pissing-session can be when it comes to shitty US emocore releases, it's allways a better thing to help some bands out with some free publicity and help music fans get their music.. So therefor, a Demo review once again, at last. This particular review is about the Dutch Thrashcore/Crossover band Nuestros Derechos, a three piece group that plays an a succesfull mixture of Hardcore Punk and hard-as nails Thrash metal. The three tracks on this demo display an allmost forgotten combination of extreme voilent thrashing with hardcore speeds. It sounds promising, with a good vocalist, mister Jerry Herrie Derechos ripping the songs together. Only slight stain is the song "Het Wijnglas" (The Wineglass), with it's dutch lyrics. I reakon that Mr Herrie is not used to singing in Dutch, as on the other two tracks which feature his voice flows better with the music. Not extremely original, not the new S.O.D. or D.R.I. , but just a talented band with a promising and anger fueled agressive demo. If you're as fed up as I am with all that weak metalcore that's released these days, contact the Derecho Dudes at and order or download their demo. Nice one, looking forward to hearing some new stuff in the future!
