We have Dying Fetus vocalist Vince Matthews, Suffocation guitarist Terence Hobbs, Derek Boyer (Suffocation, Vital Remains, Dying Fetus) on bass, Joe Cincotta from Catastrophic on guitar and finally Rob Maresca from Pyrexia and Catastrophic on drums. Also there are some backing vocals from Chris Yuastella from Eternal Ruin and on one track we also have the infamous Frank Mullen from Suffocation on backing vocals. And if that doesn’t convince you, then fuck off and listen to something gay!

 

The music consists of grooving brutal US death metal, as you might have expected by now, and besides the rather dull production it is a very nice release to listen to. Eight reasonably short songs that contain the elements of the bandmembers’ backgrounds. Some lyrics were even written by death metal smart guy Jason Netherton (Misery Index, Dying Fetus), to make it even more all-stars. The artwork is very nice too, almost comic-book like, only with a death metal twist. What more can I say, get this shit!

 

Fans of Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Napalm Death and Terrorizer will be very happy with this album. I’d like to end this review with a part of the bio; ‘old school, new school, fuck school….grind your mind!’ They said it!
