Murder By Millions - Promo
Murder By Millions is a Dutch hardcore/metal band that was formed out of the ashes of the band Anubiz, and it features (ex)members of Enemy Ground, Line Of Defense and The Motion. After a promo in 2004, they now unleash a second one to convince the Dutch audience that they should be on stages everywhere. Let’s check out if they’re worth it.
In my opinion, they definitely are. I really get the feeling I’m listening to a live band that can turn a venue into a slaughterhouse. Melodic metal, interesting and refreshing songwriting, brutal breakdowns and heavy vocals are the ingredients Murder By Millions choose for their mixture of hardcore and metal, and it works pretty sweet.
The disc is produced by Tommie Bonajo who already worked with Blindsight and 37 Stabwoundz, so the songs sound very nice and powerful. In the three tracks you hear a variety of metal styles, not all appeal to me as much as others of course, but overall I can listen fairly well to this disc. In my opinion all Dutch fans of hardcore/metalcore should go and check this band out. I hope I will too soon. I’m curious what a full-length release by these guys will bring us.
