Elconjo - Fully Fueled
I happen to know Elconjo because my band once played with them a while ago. I wasn’t really impressed by their musical capabilities back then, but their enthusiasm and their entertaining performance makes up for a whole lot. Let’s see how they sound on this new five-track MCD then.
Well, Eindhoven rock city music I’d say. Streetrock in it’s purest form. Raping Mötorhead, brutalizing AC/DC, singing about rockchicks, beer, fuel and cocksuckers, what more do you need if you wear leather? Definitely something for the Turbojugend if you ask me.
Originality, I’m not gonna go down that lane with this because there simply is none. Just good plain ol’ rock ‘n’ roll. Of course it won’t be the next Peter Pan Speedrock, but it does sound like the band is still having a good time playing this kind of music. It rocks, it rolls, it’s good for the beer consumption and the harassing of innocent women.
If loud-as-fuck rock ‘n’ roll is what still keeps you alive on a daily basis, be sure to check this band out. If you ever get the chance to see them live, do so because it is quite a humorous experience. Rock on!
