Korum - No Dominion
Korum is a quartet from (Paris)France and is formed in 1999 but it was only until 2001 when the band completed the quatro with grunter Olivier, and completed their demo Shivering. In the year 2002 their first full length album "Son of the breed" appeared on Sekhmet records. 2003 is the year that the second full length album of the Parisian Death Metal quartet appeared also on Sekhmet records, the title of the album is No Dominion. No Dominion has a lot of different varieties of music, the music is mostly based on death, thrash-metal and hardcore. These different styles are a great success together on this album.
Soars, is a great song it starts very slowly and the grunt starts also slowly but very deep, I personally like that in a song. Especially when it burst out in rage after a while, you can also make up the different styles of the band. I personally think this is a great album, the mixing with the different styles came out very well and this is due to the fact that the band members have a good technical skill level. No Dominion is a step closer to maturity in this deathmetal/hardcore genre.
