Sikfuk - Teabagged At Birth
The next band I�m going to write about, are quite familiar to me. Sikfuk from the US. Brutal, relentless and back with a new album called Teabagged At Birth. This band consists of only two living corpses that do not create a unique style of death metal, but damn it is really brutal as f*ck. I have their previous album called Goredelicious in my collection, which I really like. This new album was quite unexpected to me, because it would cost me 26 hours a day to keep track of all those brutal bands that I love.
When I started listening to this album, I expected anything. My first impression was quite good too, and I can say for quite sure that this mentality did not change during the course of the album.
Brutal, blasting, gut-twisting and loud are 4 words that can describe this album in short language. I�m a bit prejudiced because I like this band, but I can definitely say that this album kills their previous album in brutality. The titles are again very funny, for example �Snowballed By Grandma� and �The Fowl Mishappenings Of Dr. Nutcheese� really made me laugh.
A funny thing is that when I listened to this record with 2 colleagues from Metalrage, when we were driving to the meeting, one of them was really enthralled by this music. It really was something he had never heard before, and the pure reaction on his face told me this album was fantastic.
