Bongzilla - Stash / Methods For Attaining Extreme Altitudes
Relapse Records has decided to reissue the out of print Bongzilla albums Stash and Methods For Attaining Extreme Altitudes on one disc. A nice addition for the fans that stepped in the smoke cloud that is Bongzilla a bit late, including me.
Up till now I only had the record Gateway (which has one of the most beautiful stoner covers I�ve ever seen) which pleases me very much when I�m stoned. Unfortunately I borrowed this record to a dude that I lost contact with, together with some other amazing albums. I hate that. But roll a fat joint, light it, smoke it and listen to this music and all your troubles are gone, for a moment.
Bongzilla is a band whose lyrics only deal with one of the greatest things on the planet; pot. These lyrics are supported by stoner/doom/sludge riffs on very slow but very groovy beats, ideal for being stoned to. One has to love it in order to appreciate it of course.
Well since it�s a reissue I think that the people into this band probably have the original versions of this already. But if you got into the band just recently, pick this one up and light yourself some class A reefer dude! Smoke!
