Agorphobic Nosebleed/Apartment 213 - Domestic Powerviolence
So Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Apartment 213 decided it was time to release a split album together. Powerviolence is what youll find on this split, and the tempo is pretty low, something most people arent used to from a band like Agoraphobic Nosebleed. Lets see how it works out.

Well the first seven songs belong to Apartment 213, a band Ive never heard of before, but they must have gotten their name of the place that the legendary serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer used to reside. Usually powerviolence is pretty fast grindcore-like music with angry high yells, but the tempo lies pretty low here. This works out pretty good though, as the angriness is well kept through the vocals.

Then it is up to Agoraphobic Nosebleed for the next three songs. The vocalist for Apartment 213 also joins in on these songs, making the transition between the two bands sound more natural. It still is pretty weird to hear Agoraphobic Nosebleed play such slow songs, as we are used to high speed drumcomputer blasts. But in some weird way it works out for them too. The anger is well kept within the songs again.

So I can probably recommend this disc to people into grindcore and powerviolence that also can listen to some slow doom and sludge music, as do I. Pure panic through music, this Domestic Powerviolence.
