Sneak - Hypocrisy's Fair
Sneak was formed in 2004 out of the ashes of various other unsuccessful projects. This Italian band now releases its first effort in the form of a five-track EP entitled Hypocrisys Fair. Will this be worth the listen or do we have yet another crappy Italian band on our hands? Lets find out.
Sneak aims to create nu-metalcore, which means not too fast groovy music. There are some nice riffs here and there, but overall this disc cant hold my attention. Better yet it causes irritation, because the most of the vocals are quite shitty, especially in the track Non Senti. That and I again get the feeling that this genre is dead, and although I started my metal career with this type of music, I just cant stand anything new coming out in this genre. Yuk.
The metalcore is quite hard to find, I at least expect a killer breakdown or something, but no. And when they think they should also do an incoherent Jonathan Davis-like vocal part Im really done with this band. Conclusion: we have another shitty Italian band on our hands. No more, no less.
