Bobaflex - Tales From Dirt Town
I first heard Bobaflex a couple of years ago and kinda liked what I heard. In the years to come my musical taste evolved and changed, when Bobaflex didn't really. Hailing from the beautifully named Point Pleasant in America, you'd think the McCoy brothers produced some lovely cutey pie sweetheart gimme a kiss music. Well...partially yes and also partially no...Ps. Point Pleasant is also the home of the Mothman.

The yes part is the part with songs like the last song on the album, the rock opera called 'Home'. The no part is the part with the heavy guitar riffs and the good drums! There is a lot you can say about this album, but you can't say it's not that heavy! What you can say is that they're really reeeaaally trying too damn hard to find a melody that sticks! Come on guys...Just rock on and forget about making hits for once! A thing you either dig or you really don't are the vocals. It's melodic and done by more than one guy I can tell ya!

All in all, in its genre, it's a good album. It won't vote for it in any contest, but that's merely because it is not really in my genre. It's definitely not, I repeat NOT a bad album. However, it is a bit flat and like I said; they're really trying too hard here. I honestly urge you to check it out for yourself and let me know what you think in the 'throw out your rage' segment below!
