The Fury I Hide - Awaken The Fury
"Invisible Will to Kill", "Thrash Attack"..I've never heard of the Mexican band The Fury I Hide but I do like their songtitles. I got my hands on a 5-track EP from these Sombrero-rockers, and since I love hidden thrash fury the disc is spinning.

I quote some lyrics: "What is this new dimention? Last I remember I was death in a grave, they put me into a cofinn, burie me down with warms, they finish my flesh".

I can make this review pretty short by comparing the music to these lyrics: It does sound a bit evil, but it hangs a bit to much on your typical metal cliches. The actual playing of the band resembles the grammar as well. Timing seems to be off here and there, and I've heard better written thrashsongs. To me, it sounds like Kreator having a bad day.

So, does it really suck? Nah. As a first demo to get gigs with it is an ok piece of metal. If I were these guys I would record a kick ass full lenght first and add these tracks as bonus.
