Angercore - Consequences
In September 2000, this Italian band was formed. Driven by the thought of making something else then traditional Italian music and so-called pop, they started playing hardcore. This band took part at several contests in Italy and took part in some big finals. With the song “Experienced”, selected by Rock TV for the I-TIM tour 2003 in Alghero (Sardinia), Angercore had the opportunity to play for thousands of people. 2004, Angercore is substantially hardcore oriented with new-metal influences what you can clearly hear on this promo, the sound makes me think of bands like Linkin Park, but then with an outburst of rage in some parts of the songs. Those outbursts are indeed hardcore influenced, but the voice of the singer is overruled by the instruments around him. His volume is just too low. The technical skills of the musicians are good but I think that they could do much better. Although I don’t like new-metal, the new-metal parts in this album doesn’t bother me at all, the members of this band make it even sound very cool to listen to. But I would like to hear more hardcore in the next album of these gentlemen. But overall this is a very good album and I am looking forward to hear from them again. Review by dinges
