Ministry&Co-Conspirators - Cover Up
Officially the last album by industrial legends Ministry, Cover Up is about to hit the streets. Contrary to heckling Bush again, this is a return to what Al Jourgensen really is; a party animal to the core! Eleven covers have been chosen for this final release, so play it loud and party hard.

I’ve really come to appreciate mister Jourgensen and his merry men of industrial metal. The last two albums are like a Hiroshima to me, and now it saddens me to have to review their official last album. This record contains covers from The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Ram Jam, Golden Earring and Mountain among others, but there are also a couple that have been released already. Like Black Sabbath’s ‘Supernaut’, The Doors’ ‘Roadhouse Blues’ and Bob Dylan’s ‘Lay Lady Lay’. All these songs are of course industrialized and struck with some rock and metal.

This record has some excellent party tracks which I hope to hear for the rest of this century at every metal party. I hope that metalheads around the world will recognize what Ministry and friends have meant to the magical world of music (and partying), and that they may forever be honoured in the hall of headbanging fame. This certainly is a worthy release for them to say goodbye with, especially their raped version of Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’ really cuts it. So after this, we can expect the last world tour for Ministry which is mandatory to witness, and according to the biography we can also expect Al’s last collaboration with the mighty Revolting Cocks, before he leaves that group as well. Don’t worry they’re not quitting, just Al stepping back and franchising the band is some way, haha. After that, we’ll have to wait for his country project Buck Satan & The 666 Shooters. When that’s done, we’ll officially have to say goodbye to one of the most colourful party people the music industry has ever seen. Respect Al, your fans will never forget you.

So to all the worshippers out there, go out and buy Cover Up and party harder than you ever did! It could be your last chance!
