Original Soundtrack - 30 Days Of Night
I believe this is the first time I get to review an original soundtrack ever, and one from a film I haven’t even seen nonetheless. There’s a first time for everything right? The title of this movie is 30 Days Of Night and the soundtrack is scored by Brian Reitzell. The synopsis of the movie is this:

‘In sleepy secluded Barrow, Alaska, the sun sets and doesn’t rise for over 30 consecutive days and nights. From the darkness, across the frozen wasteland, vampires will come that bring the residents of Barrow to their knees.’

IMDB rated this movie 6.7/100, so I guess it’s good enough for a night of cheap entertainment. As for the music on this soundtrack, I have to admit I find it to be very pleasing. It’s a collection of dark ambient, industrial music and sounds filled with electronics, creating a sinister atmosphere fit perfect for a vampire movie. It's tension building and gives an ominous feeling. It sounds a bit like an evil version of the ‘Delirium Cordia’ from Fantômas, and that is a goooood thing!

For fans of horror movie soundtracks and dark ambient music this is a nice disc to space out to. Also fans of John Zorn type of music will probably dig this. Personally I’m pretty sure it will end up in my player from time to time, and I guess I’m gonna have to see the movie now. I’ll let y’all know what I think of it, aight?
