Polar Bear Club - Sometimes Things Just Disappear
Great bandname (please do check www.polarbearclub.org) and one of the funniest songtitles in years, 'Eat Dinner, Bury The Dog And Run', Polar Bear Club is clearly a band of funny guys making feelgood and fun music. Currently touring on their debut album Sometimes Things Just Disappear, they seem to be in it for the fun of it and making some good music along the way!

Don't get too fired up on the genre choice of punkrock, that's more based on the attitude. Most of the tempo on this album is a tad too slow to be titled 'punk rock', but nevertheless...Polar Bear Club delivered an easy accessable, ready to listen and go on the road album. Not too complicated, not too simple either. Think Sum 41, only a little better (I was gonna say a little less gay, but just remembered in time that Kerry Motherfucking King appeared in one of their videos. Pfieuw, close one!)

The only drawback on the album, as it is with most bands alike, is that most of the songs tend to be a bit similar to the previous one. So...the final verdict is that Sometimes Things Just Disappear is a good album, but not great and not that original. It's a Big Mac-Album, it's nice but after a couple of minutes you already forgot what you just ate..
