Church Of Misery - Houses Of The Unholy
Hailing from Japan, Church Of Misery is by far one of the most mind-blowing stonerrock bands I’ve ever encountered in my life. The recent performance at the Roadburn festival was again as stunning as can be, and I was fortunate enough to receive a promo copy of their latest full length Houses Of The Unholy just prior to the show. Crank up your stereo and blaze this fucker up!

Mighty stonerriffs, rock ‘n’ roll of the first degree, 70’s hippie jams, all delivered with an awesome roaring groove sound so loud it makes you wanna break something! Crushing is the adequate word to describe Houses Of The Unholy, which is as usual dedicated to a healthy dose of serial killers and murderers. Lovely distorted stonerish jamrock featuring a mighty roaring voice, which I must say impresses even more live than on record. Which is the case for the whole band I guess, for this band blows you away completely on stage.

Well what the hell more do you want me to say? If you dig loud, dirty, sleazy, monstrous rock I’d advise you to purchase this item and feel even more manly than before. Get drunk, stoned, crank it up and destroy your living room or whatever space you are in. Guaranteed good times! Church of Misery, fuck yeah!
