Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire (England), [b]The Enchanted[/b] harvest respect on the frontline of the British metalscene. Now, after the release of their debutalbum [i]Trust In Death And Rebirth[/i] (2001), the men of [b]The Enchanted[/b] gave us a taste of what's to come in the shape of the [i]For Those Who Fall[/i].

This MCD contains four songs. People who know the band might recognise [i]Under The Hall Of The Moon[/i], as it was released earlier back in 1999 (on the demo [i]Pagan Metal[/i]).
The mid-paced melodic death metal with an occasional thrash-outburst is not something innovative, but therefore most certainly not bad. Though not very fast, the drumwork is solid and fits the music in every way. The warrior-esque lyrics go accompanied by heavy riffs and speeding guitarleads and are chanted by the use of deep grunts and occasional clean vocals.

With aggression, melody and sometimes poetic lyrics (like in [i]Under The Hall Of The Moon[/i]) combined, [i]For Those Who Fall[/i] will make a good (although short: 19 minutes and 13 seconds of playing time) addition to the collection of fans of melodic deathmetal.
